Our Special Day
Our ceremony will begin at 2pm on Sunset Beach followed by time at the Maheno Bar in the main hotel complex and a chance to check in for the night.
The reception will be held from 5:30 PM to 11 PM.

Staying Overnight
To arrange your stay on the island and take advantage of the offers provided by the Kingfisher Resort, we would like to provide you with the following details:
- To enjoy a discount of 10-15% on your total accommodation on the island and the complimentary return barge (walk-on only), please call 1800 372 737 and quote the code: Wilson and Faulkner #Group 267 / 18
- Complimentary walk on barge transfers are available only for guests who stay on the island for the wedding night and book under the code above. This includes villas booked directly through Kingfisher using the code provided when calling the number above.
- If you wish to bring a car onto the island, please note that this will incur a direct cost, and you will need to make a reservation with SeaLink using your details. Unfortunately, there are no complimentary transfers for vehicles.
- If you are booking a villa, please be aware some are located at the top of a steep hill – please be mindful of this when choosing accommodation.
- Don’t forget to pack your swimmers for the day after as you get full use of the resort pools 🙂

Other important information
Dress Code
We kindly request our guests wear semi-formal or cocktail attire, with jeans and T-shirts not recommended. Guys could opt for button-up shirts and chinos, while ladies could consider a beautiful dress. Unless you are staying on the night of the 4th, please come to the Island on the ferry ready for the wedding, as check in will be after the ceremony.
Photography
We will have our own photographer on the day, so we ask that you keep your phones away during the ceremony, and photos etc. to a minimum during the remainder of the day. If you do take some photos after ceremony or during the reception, we would love for you to send them to us.
Food and Drinks
There will be a water station accessible during the ceremony, and light nibbles provided at the Maheno Bar following the ceremony, along with the option to purchase your own drinks. For the reception, dinner will be Aussie buffet style and there will be a bar tab for everyone (excluding Mark Wilson 😉 ) to enjoy.

Check in will be available from 2pm; We recommend storing luggage with the front desk upon arrival, and returning after the ceremony to check in to your rooms.
Transport
For travel to the island (if making use of the free ferry transfer) you must:
- Pre-book your transfer on 1800 372 737 when you book your accommodation.
- Arrive at the Mainland Reception (Shop 8, River Heads Shopping Village) at least 40 minutes before departure. There is secure parking here for an additional cost, and a courtesy shuttle to the ferry. Alternatively, parking is also available at the River Heads Boat Ramp.
Gifts
Truly, we do not expect gifts. However, we understand some may wish to give us something. We ask that if you would like to give, that you please give only what you want to, not what you feel like you have to. We are simply grateful to have you joining us to celebrate and we appreciate your effort to make it to our wedding.
In saying this, we will have a wishing well at the reception for those of you who would like to give a card or gift and if you already have a different gift idea in mind, please give as you desire.
